Christmas Village in Vason

From December 23 to January 6, from 4pm to 7pm, in the square in Vason

This year, the square named after Father Riccardo Cetto will be decked out for the holidays, hosting a Christmas market.
Among the typical wooden houses and the decidedly alpine atmosphere, you can taste typical local seasonal products and buy some local souvenirs.

During the event, a fundraiser will be held for the small church in Vason dedicated to all skiers to help cover winter heating costs. The initiative is the brainchild of a group of hoteliers in collaboration with Pro Loco Monte Bondone, the Monte Bondone operators’ association, and ASUC Sopramonte.

1 The Illustration Stall

Veronica is an illustrator and graphic designer. Each of her drawings is a small world that tells a story in a simple and immediate way. She pays particular attention to promoting the Trentino region.

She offers: Posters and postcards of Trentino designed as gifts, souvenirs, or colorful decorations to hang in your home.

2 Cristallo Stall: Typical products from Trentino Alto Adige

Since 2014, Centro Cristallo has been offering a variety of services for tourists and residents in the square in front of the small church on Monte Bondone, in Località Vason.
The adjacent shop selling souvenirs and typical regional food products is very popular.

It offers biscuits and cakes, sauces and ragù, honey and honey products, chocolate, spirits, pasta, and much more.

3 Trentino Erbe

Trentino Erbe was founded 30 years ago in Grumes, in the heart of the Cembra Valley.

We package carefully selected infusions and herbal teas of the highest quality, presented in elegant glass jars that guarantee long-term, hygienic storage.

4 The Strauben Stall

Tyrolean fritters, also called Straboi in Trentino, are typical Alpine desserts during the cold months. As calorific as they are tasty, they are made with flour, milk, butter, and eggs, and are served with a sprinkling of powdered sugar and traditional blueberry jam. They should be eaten freshly made while still warm, with your hands, licking your fingers.

The Hotel Montana often prepares this dessert. This Christmas, it wants to share this delicacy with guests in the resort, for a snack together at the end of a beautiful day of skiing.

5 Malga Candriai

The family-run Agriturismo Malga Candriai farm specializes in the cultivation and processing of medicinal plants, vegetables, small fruits, and livestock. We “renew ourselves in the past” by offering unique products and typical Trentino dishes.

6 The Christmas Chalet

La Tovaglia Tirolese was founded in 1998 and operates in the retail sector in Trentino-Alto Adige. Numerous events are also planned:

  • December 13: Special opening for Saint Lucy with her donkey, from 6:00 p.m. in front of the church.
  • December 24 at 5:00 p.m.: Opening and inauguration of the Village.
  • December 24 at 10:00 p.m.: Christmas Mass animated by the Voci del Bondone choir. Special opening until midnight.
  • December 26 from 4:00 p.m.: Santa Claus arrives to entertain our children.
  • December 28 at 5:00 p.m.: a toast with Trentodoc sparkling wine (a glass of Altemasi offered by Pro Loco Monte Bondone with the support of Cavit).
  • December 30 at 5:00 p.m.: the Pop Cor Choir, with the Banda Larga of the Oasi Valle Laghi association, will entertain us with a Christmas repertoire.
  • December 31: The traditional torchlight procession of ski instructors is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and will end in the square for the usual convivial moment.
  • December 31 from 11:00 p.m.: DJ in the square waiting for 2026.
  • January 6: The Befana will close the village’s activities.
